Laboratory Tests Confirm Innowave Products BPA Free

Independent, 3rd party tests performed by SGS, an internationally recognized laboratory, confirm Innowave water coolers contain no Bisphenol-A or BPA in any of the internal plastic parts that come into contact with water.  Innowave point of use water coolers are a cost effective, healthy, green alternative to old-fashioned bottled water delivery.

Jonathan Ben-David, Manager Director at WaterLogic, states, “We are pleased to confirm that all 3rd party tests conducted on Waterlogic machinesinnowave logo plastic components have confirmed that the Waterlogic machines are Bisphenol free. We believe the results of this testing will give our customers peace of mind and remind them of our commitment to manufacturing products of the highest quality and safety levels.”

BPA can typically be found in the plastic water bottles and food and beverage containers, including baby bottles. According to MSN Health, “those hard plastic five-gallon jugs that many companies use to provide their employees and customers with ‘pure’ water are usually made of BPA-containing polycarbonate,” prompting the recommendation to “opt for tap water instead.”

The Canadian government has gone as far as to label BPA as a “toxic substance” under an environmental protection act.  The US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has set up a Task Force to review BPA based on concerns raised by the draft National Toxicology Program (NTP) Brief on Bishenol-A.  The NTP Brief noted animals given low doses of the BPA showed signs of altered development, spurring concerns over human exposure and triggering another look by the FDA.

WaterLogic, based in the UK, is the parent company of Innowave based in Omaha, Nebraska.
