You see, every day, nearly 1 billion people have limited access to safe, clean drinking water. That is only 1 in 6. The results are tragic: Worldwide, 1 out of 4 deaths under the age of 5 are due to a water-related disease.
Lack of access to safe, clean drinking water impacts every aspect of life. Hauling water is delegated to women and children. Walking to and from remote water sources is time consuming and exhausting. It exposes them to physical danger. It keeps them out of work and away from school where they could learn needed skills. The contaminated water they collect often leads to water-borne disease, dehydration, even death — a literal death spiral.
We can change that.
You can choose to have Aquaprix donate the $100.00 to “charity: water.” charity: water, a non-profit organization, funds clean and safe drinking water projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America. 100% of the proceeds given to charity: water directly fund clean water solutions.
