The innowave LF™ system connects directly to the incoming tap water supply and treats water on-site at the point-of-use. That means no risk of recontamination from plumbing fixtures and pipes. Never again will you need to be concerned with lifting, storing and delivery of heavy bottles. The innowave LF™ continually replenishes itself assuring a virtually unlimited supply of fresh, high quality drinking water.
The innowave LF™ uses two highly effective technologies for treating drinking water. First, the water is passed through a 1-micron carbon block filter. According to the Water Quality Association this type of filter helps to reduce contaminants such as asbestos, atrazine, benzene, lead, mercury, trichloroethylene, trihalomethanes and cryptosporidium. Then, the water is exposed to UV light in the chilling tank, which will help to reduce coliform and heterotrophic bacteria.
The 1-micron carbon block filter used in the innowave LF™ reduces chlorine and improves the taste and odor of drinking water. Chlorine is a valuable disinfectant used to prevent the spread of water-related illness. However, many people find the taste and odor of chlorine undesirable and are concerned about the potential health effects of chlorine-based disinfection by-products such as trihalomethanes (THMs). This system assures the reduction of chlorine and makes the water taste great.
Imagine crisp, fresh-tasting cold water at the press of a button. That is what you get with the innowave LF™. Many under-the-sink and reverse osmosis systems do not chill water, requiring the use of ice if you want your water cold. You won’t need to be concerned with making ice or having to settle for room temperature water with the innowave LF™. This also reduces the possibility of contaminating your drinking water with untreated ice.
Maintaining the ultimate quality of drinking water is easy with the innowave LF™. Simply open the front panel to access the filter and UV bulb. These quick-change components need to be replaced every nine months to continually assure the best water quality. This do-it-yourself maintenance doesn’t require any tools and takes just a few minutes.
