270 USER MENU

Essential Key Operator Duties Typically include:

  • Draining the boiling tank.
  • Operating the Solid State features
  • Becoming familiar with service procedures

Solid State Controls

innowave incorporated has developed a programmable Solid State LCD display to assist the Key Operator in the periodic maintenance of the unit. One of the main functions of this LCD display is to inform the Key Operator when the boiling tank requires draining. Other key functions of the display include displaying time, hours run, remaining drain cycle time, and a manual start/stop function. The LCD display may also display a fault code. Fault codes are typically service messages designed to inform your local innowave Dealer of scheduled maintenance to the unit such as softener replacement.

Setting Day and Time

The innowave 270™ continuously displays the day and time, unless the Key Operator activates the key pad to read additional information. To change the day and time, press either the up or down arrow on the keypad until "Set Time" is displayed. The display should look like this:

Set Time –›

To program the day and time, press the right arrow. The display will show the day with an underline under the first letter in the day. An example will look like this:

Set: Wed 02:30P

To change the day, press the keypad's up or down arrow until the desired day is displayed. Once the desired day is displayed, press the right arrow. After pressing the arrow to the right the hours in the time portion of the "Set" display will be underlined. An example will look like this:

Set: Wed 02:30P

To change the hours, press the up or down arrow until the desired hour is displayed. Repeat the process to set the minutes and AM or PM (A=AM and P=PM). The display will look like this

Set: Wed 02:30P

Once the desired day and time is displayed press the right arrow. This will set the day and time into the unit. An example of the display should now look like this:

Set: Wed 02:31P

Hours Run

To determine how many hours the innowave 270™ has run, press the up or down arrow until the "Hours Run" display is shown. The display should look like this:

Hours Run XXXXX

Where "xxxxx" is the number of hours the unit has run.

Manual Start/Stop

To manually start or stop the innowave 270™, press the up or down arrow until the display shows either:

Manual Start –›

or

Manual Stop –›

If the display shows "Manual Start", pressing the right arrow will start the unit. If the display shows "Manual Stop", pressing the right arrow will stop the unit.

Service Detection

In the unlikely event of an error during operation, the unit will shut down. The display will show the message:

Call Service

Ph XXX-XXX-XXXX

Fault XX

These displays will be shown on a rotating basis (where "Ph xxx-xxx-xxxx" is the service phone number to call and "Fault xx" is the error number that has occurred). If you receive this type of message, contact your local innowave Dealer.

Emergency Procedures

As with many other appliances and equipment in your office, it is always a good idea to become familiar with what to do in case of an emergency. You should know:

  1. How to manually start and stop the machine (see Manual START/STOP).
  2. How to turn off electricity to the machine (how to unplug).
  3. How to manually shut off water to the machine (locate shut-off valve).
